The Honor Play 9A is not a well-thought-out execution and is uninviting and incapable of harsh use. The phone comes with an HD resolution that does not justify its price bracket. The device’s name contains Play, but in reality, it is a basic entry-level device incapable of actual gaming. The phone is constructed out of polycarbonate material and will not sustain even a minor-drop.
The phones feature a non-fancy 6.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that has very low pixel density due to the poorly capped resolution. The company’s inability to adjudge the user’s desire is clearly visible in this product. The phone comes with a whopping 5000 battery with no fast charging support. That makes charging experience on this device an exhausting exercise. The phone takes up to 3 hours to completely change and be ready for the next session.
The processor does not provide muscle to this device and is incapable of performing extensive instruction executions without stuttering and heating up. The device’s temperature goes off the charts even under low-pressure situations making it redundant for 3-D gaming at low-settings. That coupled with no google play services is an absolute letdown for users who are left to fend off for applications that have security flaws.

Conclusion – Should you Buy or Not?
The dispute between Google and Honor has not subsided, making it difficult for the company to release competent devices that have accelerated grasp over the market. Google play services are the USP of every android device and accentuate its security to eliminate security loopholes. Without it, the Honor devices will always lack the trust of its users.
Even without the google play services, the phone is not modestly priced, considering the cheap components that are present inside it. The phone lacks a quad-camera module that is now seen in the latest entry-level devices. The spiritless chipset could have been replaced with a competent Snapdragon SOC that could at least guarantee a slight increase in devices’ performance. The Magic UI 3.0.1 runs on Android 10 but is not efficient to uplift the user experience on this device.
The camera renderers dull, artificial colored photos with unprecise autofocus and is not recommended for avid photo takers. The charging technology is another visible neglect that has impaired the device. The device does not cast any thoughtful contribution that has been made while designing the product.

I am using the phone for the past one month and its performance is very nice. Battery life is excellent and touchpad is working perfectly. I recommend this smartphone.

This is a great mobile for the price. The large screen is just about perfect. Outstanding display quality. Great ringer volume and navigation to apps and other features is pretty easy. A full battery charged in a day is enough for two to three movies and online usage. The camera quality is quite superior, both front and back.
